Nutrients from Food we eat
This week, Grade 1s explored the different nutrients that we get from food. They looked into the different vitamins and minerals and other nutrients and shared information on how that specific nutrient helps our body to be strong and healthy.
They also looked at their food choices and tried to plan a balanced healthy meal. Aside from that, they reflected on their active physical activities and checked if their activities match with the amount recommended by the experts.
Next week, we will move into the types of lifestyle: active and sedentary, as well as look into the different health-related diseases.
